“ She Ate All The Thin Mint Cookies” I went to see my mom today, cuz im going back on the road soon, and I wanted to see her before I go. My mother and I were sitting around the dinner table, and I was telling her that I just bought Girl Scout cookies outside of Kroger. Then she started telling me this story about when she was a little Girl Scout, and she had all these cookies she was supposed to sell. Well, her mother went to work (at Goodyear on Piedmont rd), and when she came home, mom had eaten all the thin mint cookies she was supposed to sell. My grandmother got so mad at her and hollered at her and made her cry, and then she took the rest of the cookies to work to sell to her unsuspecting coworkers. I’d never heard about this before, and I love this story, so I had to draw it. Mom approves of my interpretation of it 🙂 Watercolor and marker on 6” x 5 1/2” paper.
